Fabric with Natural texture design KASUMIKINU MATSUOKAHIME [ 霞絹　松岡姫 ]

Kasumi-ginu is a fabric that expresses a unique shimmering and natural texture by using knotted threads in the weft. Matsuoka-hime" cocoons produced in Japan are used for the knot threads. Matsuokahime is characterized by its elegant luster, which becomes even more beautiful when dyed. "Sumi-nagashi dyeing" and "Kin-sai" are both Kyoyuzen techniques. The shimmering sumi-nagashi pattern is crossed with a shining Kin-sai design along with the pattern.
