Rockfon® MediCare® Plus

Rockfon® Medicare® Plus is a tile that lives up to the high health regulations in special room types – as well as the abilities of regular Rockfon tiles (acoustics, high fire protection class, high light reflection).

It's easy to install in commonly used grid systems and comes in a full range of formats in concealed, semi-concealed and visible grid options.

Fire Resistance	The fire-resistant properties of stone wool ensure Rockfon ceiling tiles provide fire protection in construction. Fire performance has been tested and classified according to: • EN 13501-2 (European norm) • National norms, depending on local building code requirements Rockfon MediCare Plus (selected sizes and edges) can be combined with Chicago Metallic grids and Rockfon systems to create: • 30 and/or 60-minute fire-protecting ceilings (BS 476 Part 21 & Part 23) • 30-minute fire-protecting membrane ceilings (integrity only) (BS 476 Part 22)
Light Reflection and Diffusion	85%
Humidity and Sag Resistance	Up to 100% RH. No visible deflection in high humidity.
Surface Durability	Enhanced durability and dirt resistance.
Cleaning	• Vacuum • Damp cloth • Steam cleaning (twice a year) Chemical resistance: Resistant to diluted solutions of: – Ammonia – Chlorine – Quaternary ammonium – Hydrogen peroxide
Hygiene	Stone wool provides no sustenance to microorganisms.
