Fabric with Phoenix tail feathers design HOUOUBANE [ 鳳凰羽 ]
The pattern is drawn on a plain fabric using gold thread and dyed black using the hikizome technique. The elegant and flowing tail feathers, like those of a phoenix flapping its wings as it leaves, are expressed in Kin-sai.
