Rockfon® MediCare® Air

Rockfon® Medicare® Air is a trustworthy ceiling tile specially made for use in pressurized healthcare environments where differential air pressure is required. It does not contribute to the growth of harmful micro-organism (class M1, zone 4) and is easy to disinfect (can withstand a wide range of disinfection chemicals).

Fire Resistance	The fire-resistant properties of stone wool ensure Rockfon ceiling tiles provide fire protection in construction. Fire performance has been tested and classified in accordance with: • EN 13501-2 • National norms, depending on building code requirements
Light Reflection and Diffusion	85%
Humidity and Sag Resistance	Up to 100% RH. No visible deflection in high humidity.
Surface Durability	Enhanced durability and dirt resistance.
Cleaning	• Vacuum • Damp cloth • Steam cleaning (twice a year) Chemical resistance: Resistant to diluted solutions of: – Ammonia – Chlorine – Quaternary ammonium – Hydrogen peroxide
Hygiene	Stone wool provides no sustenance to microorganisms.
Clean Room Classification	ISO Class 3
Bacteriological Class	M1 (NF S 90-351:2013)
Air Pressure	Suitable for areas requiring differential pressure. When used with closed neoprene foam tape and HDC 2 (for 25 mm tile): • Air leakage < 0.5 m³/h/m²/Pa • Valid for pressure range: 5–40 Pa Number of hold-down clips (HDC) depends on tile dimensions and room shape.
